What is in a prayer?

Are "prayers" a right or a gesture??

Do I have a say whether someone prays for me??

Are "prayers" simply good thoughts??

Am I ungrateful for not wanting someone to openly pray for me, and am I ungrateful for essentially rejecting someones positive intent?

I feel this says more about me than the act.....
