As my light becomes dark

I intertwine my words and vision into woven light

the lane

Covered in doubt
The blanket of dread
Soft but uncomforting
Drapes over my mind
Grey and purple in colour
My footprints embedded
In faces passed
I am ready
As my tongue is tied in nots
Stuck in the black pit
Caught like the brown snake
The brown sheep
The earth
That flows in and out of my veins
The ache from clutching at the love
That wants to leave
Taught to swim through the shadows
As the darkness hangs in the cupboard
Waiting to be worn
Or hidden under the teapot
Where blind love will not be found
Wiping me with a smile
Laced between bushland
Holding tight to the falling clouds
Grey mist covers the belief
The knowing forgotten
Liked buried love
Hope floats amongst the branches
Creating a wavering shadow
As my heart skips
My weakness lays in your palms
The softness of your skin cradling
The all
Except the nothingness
As springs laughter
Wakens the resting spirit
